Poorly made, unstable, no instructions...but looks halfway decent : SEI Window Pane Wood Media Cabinet, Cherry
The picture of the cabinet looks good, but it is overly involved to put together. In addition, the pieces don't fit well together. I ended up with quite a few extra parts. The instructions were next to worthless. I ended up giving this two stars (instead of one star) because it does hold Dvds and look relatively close to what the picture suggested it was. I would not advise this to whatever unless you could get it for less than half the price it currently sells for.

This cabinet is exactly what we were seeing for. It fits our old Vhs tapes (yes, we still watch them) and our Dvds/BluRays perfectly. It's good looking. Does not look like cheap particle board at all--it looks like a quality piece of furniture. Some of the pegs for the shelves had to be hammered in, but that was not a big deal.

I bought any of these to originate a library for my paperback books. "Regular" bookcases are designed for large hardbacks with deep and tall shelves. These with their narrow and adjustable shelves were just the thing, and the light (vinyl) stop reflects light and makes reading creased paperback covers easier than on a deep dark colored shelf.

I could wish the units were a puny more stable. They come with wall anchors but my library is in a concrete basement so I have solved that problem by putting massive things on the bottom shelf which also keeps my books away from the slim occasion of water damage from a backed up drain.

I am a wimp. I found the 60# boxed units to be heavy but I managed with some creative sliding and shoving. It took me 90 minutes to assemble one unit, and someone else 15 to put in the shelves (and turn my mind and move the shelves.) I did this with no power tools the first time but I was happier when I used a power screwdriver on the second.

For those who cannot afford the very rare hardwood shelves that are sized for paperbacks, these are pretty good alternatives.
